No parcels, no employees at Hawally Post Office

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: Some social networking sites spread news on the plan of employees of a company that signed a contract with the Ministry of Communications to go on strike.

Al-Seyassah daily visited a number of post offices on Sunday afternoon to verify the news, during which they found no parcels and employees at Hawally Post Office.

Undersecretary of the ministry Kholoud Al-Shehab revealed in a previous press statement that postal services will be privatized soon, pending approval from the Fatwa and Legislation Department.
