‘No congestion of postal parcels at airport post’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs at Ministry of Services Nasser Al-Kandari affirmed that there is no congestion of postal parcels at the airport post, stressing that the incoming and outgoing movement of postal parcels in the post offices of all governorates, including the airport post, is proceeding in accordance with a well-studied work plan, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Kandari said a company that had contracted with the postal sector for loading and unloading of postal bags encountered some problems and legal actions were taken against it. He indicated that a contract was signed with another company to take up the work, ensure the work progress and prevent accumulation of mail in order to uphold the interests of their owners.
