Nepali robbed by fake police

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: Police are looking for an unidentified police impersonator who is said to have stolen 80 dinars from a Nepali, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint to the Omariya Police Station the Nepali, born in 1988, said an unknown person driving a white salon car stopped him while he was on his way from his sponsor’s home to the cooperative and demanded to see his ID. The suspect than stole the money from his wallet and escaped.

In another incident, an unidentified Asian delivery ‘boy’ working for a home delivery food restaurant said a police impersonator forced him to pull over in the suburb Jaber Al-Ahmad area, Block 6, and stole his car key and registration book and escaped following a dual collision. The victim has provided the security men information of the vehicle the suspect was driving.
