KUWAIT CITY, Oct 30: A 1992-born Nepalese woman was arrested in Dhahar area for killing her newborn baby. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Dhahar area when they stopped an Asian woman and checked her details to discover she is a Nepalese expatriate. Based on suspicions, they checked her bag to find the corpse of a newborn. When questioned, she confessed to killing her baby. She was detained at the police station for necessary legal action and a case was filed against her.Rotten food seized: Kuwait Municipality confiscated 50 kilograms of spoiled food items including 35 kilograms of fish and issued 20 citations over various violations during an inspection campaign that it launched in some shops in Mubarakiya area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality explained that the campaign was carried out under the supervision of Adel Al-Rabah and was aimed at checking the expiry dates of food items being sold at the stores in order to protect the heath of consumers.
