Municipality delegates 1,300 cleaning workers during national days events

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: Director of Public Relations and Spokesman of Kuwait Municipality Abdulmohsen Aba Al-Khail has confirmed the delegation of 1,300 cleaning workers, distribution of 650 garbage containers and 220 machines for cleaning the streets during the National and Liberation days; indicating that work is carried out by shifts round the clock, reports Al-Rai daily.

Speaking to the daily, Aba Al-Khail disclosed the Municipality prepared for this occasion through the implementation of a comprehensive plan which includes the formation of teams whose members are from the public sanitation, demolition and emergency departments. This is in addition to the provision of machines, equipment and workers to conduct inspections in a bid to track down hawkers, he concluded
