MPW to update data of companies, contractors which work on govt projects at Dec end

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 8: The Ministry of Public Works said it will update the data of companies and contractors which work on government projects at the end of this month based on a request by Central Agency for Public Tenders and the Audit Bureau, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a reliable source.

The source added, more than 70 companies are expected to be covered by this exercise. The source informed, updating the data is one of the conditions which will qualify the companies and contractors to bid for tenders. The source said any company which fails to abide by the decision will not be able to fill the tender for the project
