Mother of Iranian wars and mother of Saddamite battles

FROM the ‘Mother of Battles’ slogan coined by Saddam Hussein in 1991 to the ‘Mother of Wars’ which Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is bragging about, there has been a rotating comic reel of history. In both cases, the target of the challenge is the United States first, the region second and then majority of countries around the world. Sadly, results of the first experiment are not different from that of the second.

This farce, which the leadership of the Mullah regime, is currently living in does not differ from the comic slogans and arrogant Iraqi sermons 27 years ago — the day they ended in vain, contrary to what Saddam said in 2003: “Baghdad’s people and rulers are determined to make the Mongols of the era commit suicide within its walls.”

Instead of the Americans committing suicide within Baghdad’s walls, they entered it amid songs and dancing among Iraqis fed up with humiliation, oppression, hunger and blind dictatorship which did not realize that it took Mesopotamia to a bottomless pit, turning palm farms into mass graves.

Today, confrontation flared up with the exchange of statements and threats between the Mullah regime and the US administration in the wake of Washington’s withdrawal from the nuclear deal. The US administration is also working towards making Tehran change its policy in the region and around the world, abandon its terrorism approach and blackmail along with the sectarian militias it supports, and non-interference in the internal affairs of neighboring countries. However, Iran responded by threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz to the oil exports of regional countries if it is prevented from exporting its oil.

It seems the new US sanctions hit hard the back of the evil regime. This time, the sanctions struck the core, considering the regime dodges punishment each time it uses deceitful methods. Therefore, the European companies withdrew from Iran and several other countries announced suspension of Iranian oil imports even before the sanctions took effect; adding another rope to the neck of the regime which keep on ignoring the living conditions of its people as it continues to spend billions of dollars on sectarian gangs in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

For Hassan Rouhani, with the support of Supreme Leader of the Republic Ali Hosseini Khamenei, to raise the level of blackmailing the United States, he directed a statement to US President Donald Trump: “Do not play with a lion’s tail … for the war with Iran will be the mother of wars.” In reality, it was based on the rule set by Ibn Khaldoun that “the vanquished wants to imitate the victor — his characteristics, dress, occupation, conditions and customs.”

Iran was defeated by Iraq in the eight-year war, so the Iranian leaders today are emulating Saddam Hussein. However, they forgot that the Iraqis pointed the hole where the fugitive hid after realizing his slogans did not move even one hair of any of the American soldiers, nor weakened the resolve of Iraqis crushed by the practices of a regime which had been holding on to its people for three decades.

The party of slogans, which the Iranian Mullah band is living in, will come to terms with reality; similar to that of Saddam, his press and the rest of the Iraqi slogan band. In other words, the International Court of Justice will pursue the Mullah regime or they will hide in caves and holes. He who lives in reality … will see the wonder of the Mullah regime’s withdrawal from reality.
