Molestation by police officer under probe

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The Ministry of Interior has opened an investigation into the accusations by a young Kuwaiti woman that a police officer attempted to molest her inside the woman’s cell at the Farwaniya Police Station, reports Al- Anba daily.
The woman was arrested and detained at the police station after she was found abnormal at an unidentified location. However, the officer has denied the accusation and said he only entered the cell when the woman attempted to end her life inside the prison. He added, there were two other policemen with him and also called on the authorities to check the CCTV footage to know the truth.
