MOI “We did not tell to shut individual Twitter accounts”

KUWAIT, May 20: Ministry of Information spokesperson Mohammed Al-Awash confirmed on Thursday that what was circulated on social media regarding a ministry employee addressing the Twitter accounts to close some personal accounts is completely false.

Al-Awash said in a press statement, after commenting on what was circulated on social media about one of the Ministry of Information employees stated to close individual accounts on Twitter which is being circulated is completely false.

The ministry will take all legal measures towards what was mentioned on this topic, calling on social media users to avoid reporting such news without cross checking (KUNA)
