MOI warns expats on gatherings and playing group sports during curfew relaxing period

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: The security authorities warned a group of expats in Hawally area last evening during the two-hour walking period, from 4.30 to 6.30 pm, as they violated instructions and gathered to play football.

The sources said that the Interior Ministry personnel, during their regular patrols in the area, noticed that a number of expats gathered in one of the stadiums where players were arrested and football was confiscated from them.

The Ministry of Interior had informed that gathering of people is a violation of the law which will lead to punishment of imprisonment or deportation hence kindly avoid such activities and keep safe distance while walking or doing exercise.
