MoI expat staffer leaking info on ‘security sweeps’ to be deported

KUWAIT CITY, May 6: Personnel from the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations at the Ministry of Interior have arrested an unidentified Egyptian for divulging information about security campaigns in return for money, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added he suspect who worked for a department of Interior Ministry, specialized in security campaigns in certain areas to catch violators of residence and labor laws, and was informing the concerned companies about the ministry plan.

The arrest came after the department received several complaints about the suspect. He was caught inside an apartment and has been referred for administrative deportation.
