MoH evacuating PAHW apartments

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Ministry of Health has started evacuating the apartments belonging to the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) in Jaber Al-Ahmad area, which were used to accommodate the medical staff brought in to help deal with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, reports Al- Anba daily The Ministry of Health has addressed the Ministry of Finance to receive the apartments officially from this week.

In turn, PAHW has begun preparations for receiving the apartments formally from the Ministry of Finance including forming a committee for receiving the apartments, examining them, and determining the work that must be carried out before handing them over to those who deserve housing care.

According to informed sources, procedures for the raffle draw and delivery will be in the first quarter of the year 2021. It is worth mentioning that the total number of apartments is 520, and the Ministry of Health used only about 125 apartments. All of the apartments are of an area of 400 square meters.
