MoE organizes closing ceremony of students’ games training centers

Ministry of Education Tuesday morning organized the closing ceremony of the students’ training centers in various types of games at Kazma Sports Club. The event was held under auspices of the Director General of the Public Authority for Sports Dr Hamoud Fulaitah.

According to a press release, other dignitaries present at the event included the Assistant Undersecretary for Students Activities and Planning at Ministry of Education Faisal Maqseed, Deputy Director General for Planning and Development at Public Authority for Sports Hussam Al-Saleh, Director of the Sports for All Department Hamid Al-Huzaim, Director of Public Relations and Media Khalid Al-Subai’e, and several instructors and officials of the ministry.

The dignitaries, led by Dr Fulaitah and Maqseed, inspected the fields and the teams of the participating schools before the games resumed.

The closing ceremony was held inside Yousef Al-Shahin Hall where karate performances were displayed. During the ceremony, trophies and medals were distributed to the winning schools. Dr Fulaitah expressed delight over the success recorded by the project of the training centers for the fourth consecutive time.

He explained that 32 schools with over 1,000 students competed in individual and team categories. Clubs that were scouting for players in various games have selected over 300 of the participants, many of who will end up becoming national-level players.
