MoCI warns against falling prey to fake ads

KUWAIT CITY, March 17: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has issued a statement calling on citizens and residents not to respond to or keep up with what is being published by some social media accounts and the global internet in the form of advertisements using pictures of some famous people to attract clients to trade in currencies and metals through the ‘Forex’ system and other means, reports Al-Jarida daily. The Ministry stressed on the need to ensure the authenticity of what is being published. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry stresses the role of legally entrusted people to confront such sites in the country and take legal measures against their owners in order to protect the rights of consumers
