KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The corpse of the missing Egyptian sailor, who disappeared in the sea after his boat overturned in the waters near Souq Sharq, has been discovered after a ten day long search.
According to sources, marine rescue teams affiliated to Kuwait Fire Service Directorate had embarked on the rescue operation after receiving information that a boat had overturned in the Kuwaiti waters due to changing weather conditions, throwing into the waters the two individuals onboard the boat .
The teams managed to rescue one of the two sailors on the boat before he drowned, but were unable to find the other sailor. They conducted an extensive search to find him, and eventually found his corpse after ten days. The corpse has been referred to the Forensics Department.
