Ministry continues to hire expat teachers locally

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: As the Ministry of Education continues its local hiring of expatriate teachers in English, Science, Mathematics and Physics, some 81 thousand teachers reported to their workstations amid challenges to complete preparations for the start of the new academic year 2019/2020 with the support of 792 school principals who reported to work two weeks ago. With regard to local hiring of teachers, government education sector will continue to conduct interviews with the new teachers in various subjects throughout the week, while educational sources affirm that local hiring of expatriate teachers is ongoing.

Also in progress is preparations for welcoming the students next week, whereas the ministry has signed 14 maintenance contracts for the air-condition units in all educational zones, and the process of distributing about 8 million text books continues, in addition to furnishing of 20 new schools and power connection of electricity, besides the provision of all necessary educational and administration need.
