KUWAIT CITY, March 6: Several employees at the Ministry of Social Affairs were dismissed and payment of their salaries was suspended due to long period of absence without justification – legal or medical, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a knowledgeable source.

The source disclosed that some of these employees took sick leaves or unpaid holidays, while others applied for delegation to other institutions where they started working without obtaining approval. The source added the ministry has taken legal action against these employees.
