KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: Fake offices busted: Security operatives came down hard on two cells caught running two different bogus domestic recruitment agencies, alongside a number of residency law violators. General Department of Public Relations and Security Media in the Ministry of Interior gathered information that a bogus domestic recruitment office was taking advantage of some citizens and concerned officers verified the report. The suspects, all Ethiopians, reportedly provided accommodation for runaway housemaids and violated residency law by hiring absconders to individuals who needed their services per hourly basis. The manager and workers at the office were also wanted for absconding from their respective sponsors.

Meanwhile, security officers gathered similar information that led to another bogus domestic recruitment agency operated by an Asian woman who was hiring domestic workers on hourly basis. The officers arrested 9 Sri Lankan runaway domestic workers with an Indian lady who was holding a baby.
