KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: In line with the acceleration of the vaccination campaign against coronavirus and the efforts of the Ministry of Health to combat the epidemic, the vaccination process is proceeding as planned and it has achieved remarkable progress, owing to the cooperation of everyone especially in registering on the electronic platform for citizens and expatriates to book their vaccination appointment, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources indicated that if the process continues at the current rate coupled with the continuous arrival of vaccines, it is expected that the vaccination of expatriates will start after about six weeks. Sources revealed the first group of expatriates, who will be contacted to receive the vaccine, are the domestic workers as part of the ministry’s efforts to achieve the highest possible level of community immunity, taking into consideration this group is one of the most vulnerable to infection due to their contacts.
