INDIA-Kuwait bilateral relations extend back into history, and are characterized by extreme cordiality, understanding and friendship.
This relationship straddles various dimensions including economic and commercial. In an effort to further expand and deepen the economic and commercial engagement between the two countries, the Embassy of India in Kuwait, in coordination with Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) of Kuwait, has organized the ‘Made in India’ exhibition on March 21, 2018 in Hotel Holiday Inn, Kuwait City. India’s economic footprint globally has been expanding over the years, with Indian products, technology, investments and human resource capital leading the way.
Showcasing these strengths, a wide range of Indian products, machinery and equipment were displayed at the exhibition, representing more than fifty world class brands from India. Sectors on display included — Agriculture, Engineering Construction, Oil and Gas, Textiles, Homecare Products, Health & Pharmaceuticals, Food and Food processing etc.
HE Nimer Fahad Al Malik Al Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for International Organizations and Foreign Trade Affairs, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, representing the Govt of Kuwait, inaugurated the exhibition.
The exhibition attracted ordinary Kuwaiti people as well as businessmen and industrialists. The Embassy of India is confident that this endeavour will help further strengthen the economic and commercial relations between the friendly countries of India and Kuwait.
