Legal action taken against a company for organizing an event

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: The Ministry of Information has taken legal measures against the company that organized an event on Saturday at the race track, due to the organizers’ failure to comply with the requirements of the permit granted to them, reports Aljarida daily. The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Information Anwar Murad affirmed the keenness of the ministry to implement the law and ensure the special requirements for such parties and gatherings are met, indicating that violation of any of these requirements exposes the organizers of such parties and gatherings to legal accountability.

He explained that the ministry’s inspection teams were present at the site of the event, and noticed that the company organizing the event had deviated from the terms and conditions of the permit granted to them and did not adhere to the time specified for the party, which continued until late night. He revealed that the organizers were directed by the inspection teams to end the party but there was no response, which prompted the team to call the police to intervene and end the party.
