Legal action or deportation for sports revelers choking roads

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 31:The General Department of Public Relations and Media Security of Ministry of Interior affirmed that the ministry will not hesitate in taking necessary legal action against expatriates who gather in public places to celebrate sports events because such celebrations often result in traffic congestion and prevalence of bad behavior.

In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the department warned that legal action including deportation will be taken against expatriates who do not follow rules and regulations. It urged expatriates to cooperate with the security authorities and follow the law of the land for the sake of the protection of people of Kuwait and their properties.

Travel agency robbed: The security authorities are looking for an unidentified person for breaking into a travel and tourism agency in the Capital Governorate and stealing KD 1,800 and a laptop, reports Al-Shahed daily. The owner of the company has filed a complaint with the area Police Station. In his complaint the owner said the theft was discovered by the staff when they reported for work in the morning. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
