Leadership in Kuwait lauds Iran-Saudi deal

KUWAIT CITY, March 12: His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah on Sunday sent a cable to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohamad Bin Salman Al-Saud congratulating him on the trio’s agreement between Saudi Arabia, Iran, and China which would lead to the resumption of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the reopening of their embassies in both countries.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir praised the agreement that reflected the keenness of both countries to enhance the regional and international peace and stability that would benefit and achieve prosperity to all the peoples of the region. His Highness the Amir prayed to the Almighty (Allah) to perpetuate His Highness with good health and wellness, and to the brotherly Saudi Kingdom progress and prosperity.
His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Sunday also sent a cable to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohamad Bin Salman Al-Saud congratulating him on the trio’s agreement.
In the cable, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince praised the agreement that reflected keenness of both countries to enhance the regional and international peace and stability that would benefit and achieve prosperity to all the peoples of the region, wishing him good health and well being, and to the brotherly Saudi Kingdom progress and prosperity.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also sent a similar cable to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohamad Bin Salman Al-Saud congratulating him on the trio’s agreement between Saudi Arabia, Iran, and China which would lead to the resumption of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the reopening of their embassies in both countries. Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Sunday congratulatory cables to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq and Iraqi President Abdulatif Rashid on their effective contribution in the resumption of diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
In his cables, His Highness the Amir wished them everlasting health and wellness, and further progress and prosperity for their countries and people. His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also sent congratulatory cables to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq and Iraqi President Abdulatif Rashid on their effective contribution in the resumption of diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and Iran. In his cables, His Highness Deputy Amir wished them everlasting health and wellness and further progress and prosperity for their countries and people. His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent similar congratulatory cables to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq and Iraqi President Abdulatif Rashid. In related news, His Highness the Amir sent a congratulatory cable on Sunday to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the joint tripartite statement issued by China, Saudi Arabia and Iran on resuming Saudi-Iranian diplomatic relations and reopening their embassies in the two countries’ capitals.
