KUWAIT, Dec 13: Kuwaitis planning to travel to European Union countries should follow health measures put in place by authorities there after the increase in COVID-19 cases due to the emergence of the new Omicron variant, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday. Some countries in the 27-nation bloc require evidence of a third vaccination booster dose as a condition for the entry of tourists, the ministry consulate department explained in a statement. The department said it stood ready to respond to any queries from Kuwaiti citizens and to offer any assistance they may require. (KUNA)
