Kuwaiti threatens to murder Bedoun wife

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: Acting on information personnel from the Jahra Criminal Investigation Department armed with a search and arrest warrant rushed to the home of a Kuwaiti in Jahra and took into custody the Kuwaiti husband of a bedoun wife for allegedly locking her inside a room and threatening to kill her, reports Al-Rai daily

The daily added, when the CID men arrived at the home of the suspect, he denied the accusation of his wife that he threatened to kill her. He told police, the woman was trying to implicate him in a nonexistent case which otherwise can be solved amicably and that it was a matter of simple family problem.

However, the CID men were not convinced looking at the state of his wife who was almost on the verge of nervous breakdown. When the wife informed the police that her husband had hidden the weapon just before their arrival, securitymen searched the premises and discovered the pistol and ammunition. The man has been referred to the Public Prosecution and the gun and ammunition to the Weapons Investigation Administration
