Kuwaiti shooters shine on day one

Secretary General of Kuwait Police Association Major General Saud Al-Khodher attended the executive meeting held by the Arab Police Union on the sidelines of the Arab Police Shooting Technique Championship which is currently ongoing in Lebanon.

Discussions during the meeting focused on how to improve activities of the union and ensure interactions among member countries in a manner that will benefit security operatives in all police associations to support the police sports.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti shooters recorded excellent results on the first day of the championship. Major Thamer Al-Mutairat came first in the singles 25-meter gun category for men. First Sergeant Jazi Al-Zamel came second in the singles 25-meter gun category for women. Captain Abdullah Al-Kandari claimed the third place in the singles 15-meter hand shooting category for men.

Kuwait’s women gun shooting team took second position through efforts of First Captain Jazi Al-Zamel, Captain Shorouq Al-Fadhli, Shawq Al-Mutairi and Lance Corporal Layali Al-Zamel.
