Two Kuwaiti shooters bagged gold and silver medals, respectively, in the seventh Asian Shotgun Championship held in Kazakhstan, amid a heavy Kuwaiti presence. Abdulrahman Al-Faihan won a gold medal while the silver went to his compatriot Talal Al-Tarki, Duaij Al-Otaibi, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation told KUNA via telephone. He pointed out that the Kuwaiti contingent emerged victorious in the team competition, where the Kuwaiti flag was flown aloft.
Meanwhile, Al-Otaibi dedicated the victory to the Kuwait leadership and people. Some 350 competitors representing 29 nations are vying for glory in the Kazakh-hosted tournament. (KUNA)
