Kuwaiti pulls veil of ex wife and verbally abuses her

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: A case of domestic violence has been filed against an unidentified Kuwaiti for allegedly pulling the veil from the face of his divorced wife and verbally abusing his 6-year-old daughter for refusing to go with him, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a security, the complaint has been filed by the man’s 30-year-old ex-wife. She added, the man has divorced her over a family dispute. She added, the court has given permission for the man to see his three children, born in 2011, 2013 and 2014 and when the father came to take them out, the 6-yearold clung to her and refused to go and at this point the man pulled the veil from his ex-wife’s face and insulted the girl. The case has registered at the West Sulaibikhat Police Station under ‘domestic violence.’
