KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: A 30-year-old Kuwaiti who was injured following a two-vehicle collision on the Seventh Ring Road, has been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital, reports Al-Rai daily.

A security source said after the Operations Room of the Ministry of the Interior received a call that a fire broke out in one of the vehicles following a two-vehicle collision, paramedics, fire engines and police rushed to the spot and took the man to the hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the incident.

However, the Al-Anba daily said it was not known if the fire left behind any human casualties. According to a firefighter, a number of citizens and residents informed the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry about the collision and fire and immediately two fire stations rushed to the place and controlled the fire before the arrival of the ambulances
