Kuwaiti held for drugs, Syrian for debt

KUWAIT CITY, April 26: A wanted Kuwaiti citizen was arrested on Fahaheel Road in possession of drugs, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Fahaheel Road when they noticed a speeding vehicle and chased it, ordering the driver to pull over. They checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen who is involved in three drug-related and theft cases. They checked his vehicle to find drugs. He was arrested and referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, a Syrian expatriate who is wanted by law for payment of debt worth KD 11,000, was arrested in Farwaniya area. According to security sources, the suspect tried to run away when securitymen were checking his details but he was stopped, arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action
