Kuwait upholds human rights – Certain forces try to undermine reputation

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Kuwait upholds human rights despite the attempts made by certain forces to undermine the reputation of the country in many ways including the hostile media through all means such as social media, press and television, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting reliable sources.

They indicated about those who exploit the issue related to Bedoun residents for this purpose. The sources revealed that Kuwait has granted passports to 30,000 out of the total 90,000 Bedoun residents in order to help them with their studies, overseas treatment and performance of Hajj and Umra rituals.

They affirmed that those who obtained the passports meet the necessary conditions while the rest possess citizenships of their countries of origin but claim to be Bedoun
