Kuwait SC beats Al Jahra – Kazma defeats Fahaheel

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: Kuwait Sports Club defeated its counterpart Al-Jahra, 3-0, in the start of the matches of the second division of the Kuwaiti Football Premier League (Zain League). While Kazma defeated Fahaheel in the same round 1-0.

Playing at the Al-Jahra Club Stadium, Kuwait sports club achieved a deserved victory in its first match under new Bahraini coach, Ali Ashour, raising its total points to 21 on first spot, while Al-Jahra remained on its 13 points in fifth place. Goals were scored by Sherco Karim in the 43rd minute with a shot from inside the penalty area, Youssef Nasser in the 60th minute with a perfect header, and Taha Al-Khunaisi in the second minute of stoppage time

In the other match held at the Khaitan Club stadium, Kazma Club defeated Fahaheel, with a score 1-0. The goal was scored by Jordanian player Ahmed Al-Arsan, in the ninth minute. Kazma advanced to third place with 16 points, while Fahaheel remained sixth after his score stopped at 12 (KUNA)
