Kuwait Petroleum Corporation to recruit ‘600 Kuwaitis’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries will soon hire about 600 Kuwaitis – diploma and bachelor degree holders, reports Al-Rai daily quoting highly reliable sources from the oil sector. Sources affirmed that the budget for this recruitment plan has been approved, indicating the corporation is keen on hiring employees based on the approved budget. Sources said most of those who will be hired will be assigned in Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), which currently needs a number of employees with various specializations; followed by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and KPC. Sources expect that there will be no suspension of promotion, rotation and recruitment in the oil sector to ensure its operations are not disrupted; considering it is the major support for the State budget.
