KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The third and fourth rounds of the Kuwait Karting Championship, which was organized by the Kuwait Karting Club, concluded at the Kuwait Motor Town. Four categories of racing - micro, mini, junior and senior - were held during these rounds. Muhammad Al-Ghadban won the title of the third round in the Micro category, with Abdulaziz Al-Sarraf taking the runner-up title. In the Mini category, Ahmed Al-Khalifa came first, followed by Rashid Al-Issa in second place, and Khalifa Muhammad Al-Khalid in third place.

In the Junior category, Saqer Al-Maousherji came first, followed by Jaber Athbi Al-Sabah and Yacoub Al- Zenki in second and third places respectively. In the Senior category, Fahad Muhammad Al-Khalid won the title, while Abdul-Rahman Al-Sayer came second, and Asma Jayash third. As for the fourth round, Abdulaziz Al-Sarraf won the title for the Micro category, followed by Muhammad Al- Ghadban in second place.

In the Mini category, Khalifa Mohammed Al-Khalid came first, Ahmed Al-Khalifa second, and Rashid Al- Essa third. The title of the Junior category was won by Saqer Al- Maousherji, followed by Jaber Athbi Al-Sabah in second place and Yacoub Al-Zenki in third place. In the Senior category, Fahad Al-Khaled came first, followed by Abdul-Rahman Al-Sayer in second place, and Asma Jayash in third.

President of the Kuwait Karting Club Dr. Hamid Boushahri said the third and fourth rounds witnessed great participation by the contestants in all age categories, in addition to the strong competition between them. He said, “We are working in the Kuwait Karting Club to develop the game and the level of the contestants, which will refl ect positively on the foreign participation and the appropriate representation of Kuwait.” Dr. Boushahri expressed his optimism about the future of karting, especially since many competitors have joined it, and in consideration of it being widespread in the country.
