Kuwait defeats Lebanon 2:0

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: Kuwait’s national football team defeated Lebanon 2:0 in the international friendly match played in  Dubai, UAE. The Kuwait team scored through players Faisal Zayed and Mohamed Bagia, while goalkeeper Suleiman Abdel Ghafour managed to save a penalty kick from Lebanon national team player Hassan Maatouk in the first half.

The national team is holding a training camp in the UAE to prepare for upcoming tournaments by playing friendly matches against international teams. The national team will participate in the Arab Gulf Cup tournament, which will be held in the Iraqi city of Basra, from 6 to 19 January
