Kuwait Camel Club concludes racing for year 2021-2022

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: The Kuwait Camel Racing Club concluded today its local sports for season 2021/2022 which was held at Al-Shaheed Fahd Al-Ahmad Square. There were in total eight races for camels of different ages. In its statement to (KUNA) clubs assistant secretary Mohammed Al-Hajri, said that this season which began in September witnessed large participation of camel owners in Kuwait as races were held on weekly basis. Al-Hajri further stated this season saw strong competitions in most races which was adhered to the health measures due to repercussions of Corona pandemic. Kuwait camels have participated in a number of international championships in Gulf and Arab countries with good results.

In today’s race Hussein al Dawas’s camel Al Shaheen, Rashid Al Marri’s camel Asbra and Satam Al Sahli’s camel Al Bas were crowned winners at the end of the race.
