‘Burgan’ to repatriate remains of five Egyptians: ministerKUWAIT CITY, April 3: Jamaal Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) said the company is waiting for the results of joint investigations which are being carried out in cooperation with other parties to find out the cause of the recent accident which claimed the lives of 15 expatriate workers on Artal Road, reports Al- Rai daily.Egyptian Minister for Manpower Mohamed Saafan said the Burgan Drilling Company has said it will repatriate the remains of five Egyptians who died in the accident and give their heirs their financial rights.The labor counselor at the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait, Ahmed Abdul Azim said the Director of Personnel Department at the Burgan Company Abu Mishal Al-Deishi has expressed his regrets for what happened.He stressed the company will bear all expenses and give the heirs of the deceased all their financial rights. He added, the remains are kept in the morgue and will be repatriated to Egypt after completion of paper work and legal procedures.
