KNPC officials under probe for embezzlement – Indian official involved

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has submitted a comprehensive report to the State Audit Bureau on the results of internal investigations conducted by the company which revealed the suspicious conflict of interest and prejudice of public money, reports Al-Rai daily.
The report shows the involvement of an Indian official, a Kuwaiti manager and a former senior oil official. The daily added, all legal measures have been taken and the file has been referred to Public Prosecution.
