Knife-fight at Jahra hospital doorstep

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25: The Jahra Hospital witnessed a bloody quarrel outside the gate of the hospital when some of the men fought against some youngsters who were admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) with stab wounds, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the fight first happened inside a Diwaniya of a house due to differences among a group of youths and during the fight many received stab wounds.

The sources pointed after the fight continued with sharp objects outside the intensive care unit as the hospital security guards looked on and this created chaos and caused panic among patients and visitors. The sources added despite the presence of members of the Special Forces in front of the hospital gates, it did not deter the young men from entering the hospital premises. The sources added the Jahra police finally managed to arrest all the young men involved in the ‘ruckus’ and detained them at the area police station.
