KIB’s showjumping team continues to achieve local and int’l success – Kuwait Int’l Bank extremely proud of young talented champions

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) announced that the showjumping team it sponsors, and which competes under the Bank’s name, recently garnered a slew of accolades at several local and international competitions. The KIB team features jockeys Ghazi Al-Juraei, Ahmad Al-Mudaheka, Abdullah Hamadah and Ahmad Al-Ansari.

The first of the team’s jockeys, Ghazi Al-Juraei, recently scored a victory in the Late Raed Faisal Al Dabbous Championship with a first place finish, whilst also winning second place in the Public Authority for Youth and Sport (PAYS) Championship. On an international level, the young showjumper delivered a strong performance to earn an advanced placement at the Qatar International Show Jumping Championship. On the other hand, Al-Juriaei’s teammate, Ahmad Al-Mudaheka, placed second in the PAYS Championship, in addition to earning third place in the Atyab Al Marshood Championship and fourth place in the Late Raed Faisal Al Dabbous Championship.

On his part, Abdullah Hamadah won fourth place in the Atyab Al Marshood Championship, fifth place in the Late Raed Faisal Al Dabbous Championship and fourth place in the PAYS Championship, in addition to earning an impressive ranking in the Qatar International Show Jumping Championship. The final member of the team, Ahmad Al-Ansari, came in fourth place at the PAYS Championship, and placed fifth in both the Atyab Al Marshood Championship and the Hunting and Equestrian Club Championship.

Speaking about the team’s latest accomplishments, Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, commented: “We are extremely proud of this team of young, talented champions and of the incredible performances they have all delivered recently. Our sponsorship of these athletes comes as part of our ongoing efforts to support youth in Kuwait across all fields and areas. It also comes in line with our numerous initiatives geared towards supporting the local sports culture, where we are especially focused on sponsoring talented Kuwaiti athletes to enable them to participate in various local and international competitions.”

Najia concluded by praising the young equestrians for their unwavering dedication and their tireless commitment to their training, which has enabled them to deliver a solid performance time and time again. He further added: “We wish the team the best of luck and even greater success in the upcoming season. We are certain that they will continue to raise Kuwait’s name high in the realm of equestrian sports, both regionally and internationally.”
