KFA to elect new board in May

KUWAIT CITY, April 20: Kuwait Football Association (KFA) invited its member clubs on Tuesday to an emergency General Assembly session on May 20 to elect a new board of directors. Candidacy for the post of chair, two deputy chairs and four board members, including a female member, opened on Wednesday, the KFA said in a brief statement. The last General Assembly session, held on February 24, amended the basic statues of the KFA, including Paragraph 4 G, of Article 35, which provides that the age of eligible candidate should be no less than 20 year and no more than 70 at the time of candidacy (KUNA).
