KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: The Criminal Court has set Jan 8, 2019 to look into the case of a Gulf citizen who is charged with the premeditated murder of his brother and his friend while under the influence of drugs inside their home in the suburb of Ali Sabah Al Salem, reports Al-Anba daily.

The Public Prosecution has charged the man with premeditated murder, drug abuse and possession of a firearm and ammunition without a license. The case papers show the suspect premeditatedly shot to death the brother and his friend on July 29, this year. The case papers show, the suspect armed with a Kalashnikov rifle planned to meet the victims in the Diwaniya of the house and gunned them down mercilessly.

The source added the suspect – after committing the crime – put the weapon in the room and told his brother’s wife and asked her to take her children and leave the house, and then returned to the house where the corpses lay and put the airconditioner on to get rid of the stench of death.

He then went to the Al-Nuwaiseeb border point and planned to leave to a neighboring country, but was unable to do so because there was travel ban issued against him in 2015 in connection with two civil offenses.

He was then asked to meet the officer in charge of the border post and there he admitted to killing his brother and his friend. He was then taken to the Ali Sabah Al-Salem Police Station and later guided to the place where he had hidden the weapon with which he had committed the crime.
