Interpol traces Kuwaiti who fled to Iran after duping people of KD 12m

KUWAIT CITY, May 7: Efforts exerted by Kuwaiti Interpol led by its director Colonel Ahmed Al-Hilal, with the cooperation of its Iranian counterpart, has succeeded in tracing the location of a Kuwaiti electrical engineer (female) who has fled to Iran after swindling nearly KD 12 million from a number of victims, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed security sources.

They said the Kuwaiti Interpol received serious cooperation from their Iranian counterpart in this case, as the initial report of the latter affirms that the suspect is residing in Iran but not in any hotel but in a private residence of a relative or a friend.
