KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: Officers from General Department for Residency Affairs arrested 13 violators of residency law during a sudden security campaign on cafes in Salmiya area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, the campaign was launched based on instructions from Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Sheikh Mazen Jarrah Al-Sabah.

Meanwhile, the officers also arrested 11 Asian expatriates in Shuwaikh Industrial Area. Reportedly, the officers were patrolling the area when they stopped a vehicle with 11 occupants and checked their details to discover they violated the residency law. All suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. The General Department for Residency Affairs affirmed that it will continue to hold such security campaigns to arrest the violators of law and ensure that the laws and regulations of the country are followed by all without any exception.

7 for deportation: Seven Egyptians and Yemenis who were involved in a fight inside the Ardhiya Industrial Area have been referred to the deportation center, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting knowledgeable sources in the Interior Ministry
