KUWAIT CITY, Jul 18: The recklessness bootlegger ran over a security man at a checkpoint on Amman street in Salmiya, who was admitted in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in a critical condition.

The incident happened when Corporal Nader Al-Azmi was notified by an officer on duty for change of duty at security point near Amman Street in the Salmiya area.

Upon his arrival he saw a car instantly speeding off without any reason. Both the officers chased and surrounded him, he intentionally collided into the police vehicle and when the latter got out of it he ran over him which resulted in severe injuries a support force was requested to arrest the accused.

A security source stated that while the security officers attended their injured colleague to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in a critical condition reports Al Rai. The support security men arrested the accused who was in a drunk state, after checking his identity it was found that he was an Indian.

On searching his car 66 imported liquor bottles and 500 dinars was found, he was referred to the police station, and a case of bootlegging imported liquor, deliberately running over a security man and collided with his vehicle has been registered against him. He has been referred to investigation to complete the legal procedures.
