Indian Ambassador calls on Lieut-Gen Sheikh Khaled

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HH Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: A press release issued by the Embassy of India in Kuwait, said the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent congratulations to HH Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on his appointment as the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait. In message on his Twitter account, the Indian Prime Minister said, “My congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Kuwait. I look forward to working with him to further deepen and expand our excellent bilateral relations.”

Meanwhile, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait HE Sibi George called on HE Lieutenant-General Sheikh Khaled Al-Saleh Al-Sabah, Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Kuwait, today and discussed, inter-alia, bilateral ties, ways of enhancing cooperation in various fields especially in the domains of defense and security, and other matters of mutual interest.
