Hospital cleaning worker arrested for stealing medicines

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: Cleaning worker arrested: Securitymen arrested a cleaning worker at a government hospital for his involvement in medical equipment and medicine theft, reports Al- Shahed daily. A security source said the administrative supervisor suspected the worker and placed him under surveillance, and caught him sneaking into the storage rooms to steal. The supervisor notified security officers and he was arrested while trying to leave the hospital with the stolen items. His Asian accomplice was waiting for him outside to collect the loot.

3 held over KD 6,900 debt: The securitymen arrested a Syrian who evaded the three-year imprisonment and deportation imposed on him for committing an undisclosed crime. An Egyptian was also arrested for failure to settle a debt amounting to KD 1,000; a Bedoun for debt amounting to KD 3,100 and an Indian for KD 2,800
