Gulf, Arab artistes condole death of Kuwait’s late Amir

‘Entire world has lost a great, wise and compassionate leader’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: With sadness and sorrow, artistes in Kuwait, the Gulf states and the Arab world are still mourning His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al- Sabah, reports Al-Rai daily. The general feeling among the artistes is that Kuwait, the Gulf and the world at large lost the most precious human being, leader of humanity and the wisest personality. His death has brought sadness mixed with pain.

The Jordanian singer, Diana Qarazon, said: “I offer my sincere condolences and sympathy to the Kuwaiti people on the death of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the late Amir of Kuwait, I ask God Almighty to have mercy on Sheikh Sabah and give him place in His paradise.”

The Bahraini artiste Ahmed Al-Jumairi said: “May God bless you. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the ruling family, the government, the Kuwaitis for the loss of righteous son, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The Qatari artist, Ali Abdul Sattar, said, “With more sorrow and sadness we received the news of the death of the late Amir of Humanity and Peace Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God have mercy on him, at a difficult time when the nation is in dire need of his sublime endeavors.”

The Syrian artiste Samer Al-Masri expressed his sadness at the loss of His Highness the Amir, and said: “The entire world has lost a great, wise and compassionate leader while the Egyptian artistes said in the death of the late Amir the Arabs lost a supporter.

Actress Basma Hamada said “I cannot express the sadness in my heart, but in reality the whole world is crying out for you, Baba Sabah. May God have mercy on you, pardon you and forgive you, Prince of humanity.”

Laila Abdullah said: “The death of the Amir broke the hearts of many.” She called the late Amir always kind, compassionate, and generous with everyone without exception.

Actress and singer Shaima Suleiman said: “Kuwait, which has always been waking up to the sunshine with Sheikh Sabah and today the sun rises in the east without Sheikh Sabah. To God we belong and to Him shall return. We have lost a tender father.”

Actress Maha Muhammad said: “Kuwait and its people lost a leader and a symbol of humanity, and personally I lost a big brother and a dear father. The Kuwaiti children feel orphaned, because he was the father of all and the Amir of Kuwait and a great brother to all. You are in your paradise and we will not forget you.” He added, “It is true that I did not have the honor of meeting him, but I feel I lost a person close to me, because his good deeds and initiatives always preceded him, which will remain permanent forever, to tell us about his fragrant life.” He added, “We condole ourselves in Qatar and we offer condolences to the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, the Kuwaiti people and the Arab and Islamic nations in their time of great affliction, praying to God for mercy and forgiveness.
