Group of Nepalis arrested with 140 liquor barrels

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: The Abdali authorities raided a local liquor factory in the Subhiya area and seized 140 liquor barrels. The liquor factory was run by a group of  Nepali workers. This factory came to light when a officer was patrolling the area where he suspected foul smell coming from cabins inhabited by a group of Nepali expats were staying.

After checking the identities of the workers, it was found that they were illegal workers reports Al Rai. They had no ids further inspection revealed that it was a large factory for producing locally distilled alcohol,  they were arrested and handed over to the authorities.
