Grocery stores selling directly to public will be shut immediately – Only home delivery allowed

KUWAIT, May 13 : Kuwait Municipality said today, Wednesday, that the groceries that sell directly to the public will be closed immediately during the period of the comprehensive ban, as it only has to deliver in the region after receiving requests via phone or electronic means of communication.
In a press release, the municipality added that the supervisory teams in the six governorates continue to inspect groceries and parallel markets to ensure their commitment to implementing health requirements in accordance with administrative decision (No. 810 of 2020).

Municipality supervisory teams obligate the supermarkets and groceries to wear gloves and masks for their employees in order to limit the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid 19) based on the decisions issued by the health authorities.

The municipality called the owners of groceries and similar shops to implement the health and preventive requirements in accordance with the decisions and circulars issued in order to avoid the violation and the immediate closure. (KUNA)
